I found two Depression era Hamilton watches in 10K Keystone cases for a 987A (6/0) movements. They have restored dials.
Few people know that Hamilton did not make their cases. In fact, Hamilton only produced movements. The cases were designed and manufactured by companies such a Star and Wadsworth among others. Hamilton often sold its movements uncased to jewelers. These represent cases used by a Jeweler in the early stages of the Great Depression. Though Hamilton used tough 10K gold as the filling, they specified thin cases that brass easily. The one on the left has a striking resemblance to a Morley with its stepped down sides.
The watch on the right resembles a Mason.
I see sellers on eBay list similar watches at steep prices. Please keep in mind Hamilton made these in the mid-1930s. The company called them popularly priced watches.
If you buy Hamilton watches simply as collector’s items, then, by all means, attempt to pay less than $100.
