This is a very rare Hamilton Emerson model Circa 1940. The 10K 14/0 Hamiltons used a 17 Jewel 980 movement. The case made by Wadsworth. It’s Hamilton’s answer to the Gruen Curvex. The lugs are hidden by the hood. It came with 18K applied gold hour markers and hands. Note the second hand in a subsidiary position at 6:00 O’clock. The second hand in this position is powered by a wheel located in the train of the movement.
