1926 Hamilton gentleman’s wristwatch. This is a rare, seldom seen True Art Deco* timepiece. Hamilton produced 1255 of this variation of the engraved Cushion: 352 with a 986A movement and 903 with the 987. This one is the 987 model.
The Cushion is not a fragile timepiece. In fact, it’s sturdy and reliable as you would expect from the then premiere global leader in watch making. The case is 14K White Gold Filled with beautiful carving on the bezel and movement holder – (front and sides.). The Wadsworth case is in excellent to mint condition. It has a detachable bezel and snap back. The movement is encased in a separate holder. The dimensions: 35.8 x 28 mm.
It has kathedale form colbalt black hands in mint condition with a large sub second hand at the six O’clock position. The original dial is restored to factory specifications. A rare and beautiful art restoration project.
