This wristwatch is a 14 K gold filled 19 Jewel Hamilton. It’s a very popular rectangular watch with an Art Deco shape and swept back lugs. The “Ross” is a true 1930’s watch made between 1937 and into 1941.
The “Ross” came with a 982 movement with damasked bridges and plates.
Hamilton produced Ross line with either a two tone copper dial with roman numerals or a Butler finished faces with 18K applied gold hands and numerals. This Ross has a Copper Dial with Arabic Numerals. It’s not unusual to find custom dials on Hamilton watches. This is one.
The Ross dimensions are 24mm x 37mm. It’s small across and has about an average length for a retro Hamilton rectangular case.
